A poorly installed polished floor barely a few years old — resurfaced in seamless Hardcrete microcement through the kitchen, dining and living space of Jamie Theakston’s home.
The floor ran through the rear extension of Jamie Theakston’s West London home: an open kitchen, dining and living space behind a full-width glass wall, plus a WC. Breaking it out would have meant weeks of disruption in the most-used part of the house.
Instead, we resurfaced directly over it. The existing slab was prepared and primed, then built up in LPC Hardcrete microcement in colour 3259 — a warm, pale tone matched to the room’s timber and stone — and sealed as one seamless plane, threshold to threshold.
The family was living on the new floor from day seven.

BEFOREAFTER

No cordons, no waiting weeks for a cure. The household — all of it — was back on the floor within a week of the final seal.
